Who to contact
Fjordtalesbrz is the independent editorial project operating at fjordtalesbrz.com. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected]. This notice does not imply that the project is a registered company or public authority.
Browsing the site
The site’s own pages do not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, embedded third-party media or remote font requests. Images, scripts and styles are served as site files. The site does not require an account.
Delivering a page necessarily involves a network request. Hosting and network providers may process technical information such as an IP address, requested address, time, browser information and error details for delivery, security and troubleshooting. Hosting-level retention and infrastructure settings are not controlled by the page code; we do not claim that technical logs never exist.
The local message tool
The contact tool formats the details you enter into a plain-text draft inside your browser. It has no form-submission service, does not transmit the draft to us and does not save it in cookies, local storage or session storage. Information remains in the current page’s memory, although your browser may independently offer form recovery or autofill.
The copy control writes the prepared text to your clipboard only when you request it. Your device may retain clipboard history. The download control creates a text file on your device. You are responsible for storing or deleting that file and clearing copied information on shared devices.
Email you choose to send
If you send email, we receive your address, message and any other information you include. We use it to assess the enquiry, respond where appropriate, investigate corrections and maintain relevant correspondence. Please do not send identity documents, health information, payment details or other sensitive material.
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, ordinary enquiry handling relies on legitimate interests in communicating with readers and maintaining the site, subject to your rights. A legal obligation may require some records to be retained.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. Email and hosting providers may process information as needed to provide their services. Disclosure may also be necessary to comply with law, protect rights or address security concerns. Providers may process data in other countries under their applicable arrangements.
Correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, correction history, security or applicable legal obligations. This notice does not promise a fixed deletion date for every message. You may ask whether we still hold your correspondence and request deletion, subject to lawful exceptions.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your personal data, object to processing or request portability. Contact us with enough information to locate your message; we may need proportionate verification. You may also complain to your competent data-protection authority. Norway’s authority is Datatilsynet.
